time to relax (for now)!

As summer arrives, it’s a perfect moment to reflect on all we’ve achieved together during the first active year of the CDG-Booster project. Since launching in 2024, we’ve brought together creative minds, tech innovators, and growth-driven SMEs from Finland, Sweden, and Estonia to explore new opportunities in digitalisation, gamification, and immersive technologies. Our first Accelerator round attracted over 30 applications, from which 25 promising companies were selected to receive mentoring, workshops, and support.

We’ve organised local meetups in Lahti and participated in international events like sTARTUp Day and Nordic Game, offering companies inspiration, networking, and expert insights. Our digital platforms, Discord and the cdgbooster.com learning site, have grown into vibrant spaces for collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Through the efforts of our partners, we’ve developed new content, recruited an expert mentor pool, and started building bridges between sectors such as gaming, education, health, and cultural heritage.

Companies in the Accelerator have already begun refining their business models, pitching their ideas, and preparing for internationalisation. As a team, we’ve learned a lot about what it takes to support innovation across borders and industries. We’re proud of the work done and excited for what’s ahead.

Now it’s time to take a well-deserved summer break and return in the autumn with fresh ideas and renewed energy.
