CDG-Booster companies shone at Nordic Game 2026

CDG-Booster took part in Nordic Game 2026 in Malmö, Sweden, one of Europe’s top events for the games industry. Held at Slagthuset Malmö from 26–29 May, the event gathered over 1000 people from the Nordic region and worldwide, including game creators, publishers, investors, tech providers, researchers and other industry experts. CDG-Booster Accelerator participants were also in the spotlight.

At the conference, CDG-Booster set up demo stations where companies in the Accelerator programme could show their games and digital products directly to industry professionals. The demo area facilitated useful conversations with potential partners, publishers, investors, and other developers, while also giving visitors a chance to try the projects themselves.

Nordic Game included a wide range of talks, panels, workshops, matchmaking sessions and networking events. The conference covered topics such as game design, production, business growth, new technologies, artificial intelligence, and sound and interactive experiences. Over 100 indie games were shown during the event, giving both well-known studios and new developers a chance to be noticed by industry leaders.

Growing a business and making connections were key parts of the conference. Through planned matchmaking sessions, business lounges and networking events, participants could meet publishers, investors, service providers and game studios from the global games community. Nordic Game is known as one of the most important meeting spots for the Nordic games industry and a great place to build partnerships and explore future business opportunities.

For the Accelerator companies, the event was a chance to get feedback from industry experts, build international connections and get noticed in a tough market. CDG-Booster organised an upskilling keynote on company readiness — when a company is ready to take different steps, such as talking to publishers or investors. The event also marked the end of the first Accelerator round, with active participants receiving their certificates.
