In the last Meetup in Lahti the air was filled with big ideas, and new technologies!

CDG-Booster brings its Local Meetups to Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, transforming ordinary afternoons into lively hubs of connection. In just a few hours, businesses and stakeholders mingle, spark collaborations, listen to inspiring keynote speakers, and dive into hands-on activities. For many, these welcoming gatherings are the gateway into the vibrant CDG-Booster community and its ever-expanding Discord group.

Lahti, home to CDG-Booster partner LAB University of Applied Sciences, has already hosted five meetups. The latest, on Friday, 16 April, focused on marketing and visibility, the importance of making your presence known. The session featured two talks: one by Marjut Suokas from LAB and another by Sami Jahnukainen from Donkey Hotel, an Accelerator-selected AR company. Both speakers emphasised that you shouldn’t wait for your product, service, or brand to be perfect before sharing it. If people don’t know you exist, it doesn’t matter how great your product is.

Attendees eagerly experimented with AR, VR, and XR gear, sparking creative discussions about fresh possibilities for these cutting-edge technologies.

True to form, the session’s highlight was the spontaneous, thought-provoking conversations that unfolded among participants.
